Paul R.K Mashauri

Mr. Paul R.K Mashauri is the current Chairman and Co-Founder of East Africa Speakers Bureau Limited (EASB). He seats in the SMEs Subcommittee of the Confederation of Tanzania Industries (CTI), Steering Committee of the Tanzania Responsible Business Network (TRBN), member of the Tanzania Professionals Network (TPN) and chairs the board of directors of the National Tour Operator Limited (NATOL) and 24 Hrs Print & Media Technologies Ltd.

Paul is a new venture creation expert and one of Tanzania’s leading authorities in strategic thinking and entrepreneurial leadership. With a great reputation in corporate and government circles, Mashauri is a well known media personality and insightful thinker with a powerful success record in planning, managing and executing some of the highly successful private sector initiatives.

He made a landmark with East Africa Speakers Bureau, the leading lecture agency and hitherto the only speakers promotional firm in the region, due to his ability to generate and bring to life some of the most profound ideas, involving production of the top class mind-set change events to corporate and the general public in Tanzania including The Grand Networking After Dinner Talk, Women Entrepreneurship & Career Summit, East and Southern Africa Industry & Trade Expo, International Marketers Convention, The IT & Communication Summit, The Leadership & Lifestyle Forum (LLF), YES!Tanzania initiative and Entrepreneurs Day just to mention a few.

Prior to the establishment of East Africa Speakers Bureau, Paul served as the Executive Director and founder of Familia Newspaper, a weekly published inspirational paper addressing cross cutting issues as shared by respected intellectuals, researchers, great achievers, bestselling authors, business visionaries and renowned professionals. He established the paper upon completion of his studies at the University of Dar es Salaam. He uses his network, skills and experience to build strong businesses through motivational talk sessions targeting SMEs in a diversity of sectors.

He has been involved in various developmental initiatives undertaken by both the government and private sector bodies including Uongozi Institute, Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF), Embassy of Finland in Tanzania, Tanzania Entrepreneurship Program and Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (TCCIA).His powerful message has been heard by over one million people in Tanzania through TV talk shows and lecture circuits across the country. Betterlife Foundation is a non profit organisation he co-founded in 2010 to support developmental projects in education and health sectors. With funding from EASB, NATOL and 24 Hrs Print & Media Technologies ltd, the foundation supports knowledge based initiatives developed by young aspiring entrepreneurs in schools and colleges across Tanzania. Paul holds a bachelor degree in Economics & Sociology of the University of Dar es Salaam with options in Political Science and Public administration studies. He is a family man married to Lilian John Msacky and are blessed with one child namely Cherish.
