Clark EASB is very pleased to announce the inauguration of the EASB Entrepreneurship Lecture Series. The Lecture Series will consist of 12 lectures over the next 6 months commencing with the opening lecture 2 May 2011. The opening lecture will feature Joseph Kusaga, CEO of Clouds Entertainment and Juhayna Kusaga, CEO of Primetime Productions. The lecture will take place at the Kempinski Kilimanjaro Hotel and start with mingling and networking at 6:30  PM and the commencement of the program at 7:00 PM.

Joseph Kusaga is one of the most successful and interesting entrepreneurs in Tanzania and his entrepreneurial experience is a classic textbook story of challenges, hard work, timing, perseverance and passion. His wife and business partner, Juhayna, is a MBA, mother of two and CEO of one Clouds Entertainment’s major profit centers. You are guaranteed to be enriched, motivated and entertained.

MAISHA NI NYUMBA is a newly TV program to be broadcasted on weekly basis by Tanzania's most favorite TV channels including TBC1, STAR TV and Channel Ten. The program which is part of National Housing Corporation's communication strategy to reach out to various stakeholders, clients and the general public will feature in exclusive interviews, featuted stories and news related to the housing sector in Tanzania and the world at large. The program will be aired on STAR TV every monday from 8:30-9:00 PM as well as TBC1 and Channel TEN from 9:30-10:00 PM on wednesday and friday respectively.

This week's program will feature in an interview with Nehemia Kyando Mchechu, Director General, NHC. This program is being produced by 24 Hrs Print & Media Technologies Ltd which is a member of EASB. WTD27th of September is an internationaly recognised World Tourism Day. Its purpose is to foster awareness among the international community of the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic value. The event seeks to address global challenges outlined in the United Nations Millennium Development Goals and to highlight the contribution the tourism industry can make in reaching these goals.

In commemorating the World Tourism Day in Tanzania, the Ministry of Tourism and Natural Resources in association with various stakeholders including the Tourism Confederation of Tanzania, Dar es Salaam Executive Tourism Board (DTEB), the Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) through the Cluster Competitiveness Program (CCP), Tanzania Tourism Board (TTB) and Office of the Regional Comissioner are organising various activities with an intent to promote domestic tourism along the swahili coast of Dar es Salaam.

These activities will include a press conference by the Minister of Tourism and Natural Resources on 27th of September 2011, exhibitions, city tours, awareness campaigns,  round table discussions, dinner gala and the floating activity scheduled for 30th september and 1st october 2011.
