East Africa Speakers Bureau (ESB) is East Africa's leading lecture agency representing world’s top most speakers, moderators, speech writers, interpreters, facilitators and guest celebrity speakers. ESB is a combination of a speaker’s bureau, corporate consultant and a talent booking agency. We are a worldwide networked speakers agency to help make events or programs achieve the desired objectives. ESB bring to meeting planners ideal speakers to train, facilitate, moderate, lecture, translate, report,  inspire or entertain, be it a meeting, conference, road show, product launch, public lecture, one to one coaching, training session, concert, media program, after dinner event or any other occasion.

Anyone who meets the standards set in the speaking industry being a professional speaker, facilitator, great achiever, mediator or professional Mc is eligible for membership provided that he/she adheres to our terms and conditions as stipulated below:

• That he/she will recognizeESB in all his/her speaking engagements booked by ESB
• That for each deal,ESB will  secure the standard industrial commission of 30% at the time of booking
• ThatESB will use speaker’s biography and other materials worth distributed e.g.) video and audio demos for promotion purposes.
• That once accept an offer fromESB client, he/she should not accept any other offer that may intervene with the schedule of the secured deal
• That once the speaker is contacted by the client who is directly or indirectly informed by ESB, he/she should notify us immediately and forward to us some details preferably by email of what has been discussed. The speaker is not supposed to discuss fees with the client and doing so is to breach the agreement.
• The speaker is not supposed to suggest an alternative speaker to the client. If he/she not in a position to take an engagement and would like to recommend some one for that then he/she should contactESB
• The speaker is allowed to contact the client but the discussion should primarily focus on program details, additional background information of the speaker and other event needs but for other requests should be directed toESB.
• The speaker will be paid by ESB immediately after the payment has been done by the client.
• ThatESB will be responsible for all the booking process including the following

1. Generate contracting for the speaker (including any stipulations / special arrangements and specific details).
2. Generate contracting for the client (including any stipulations / special arrangements and specific details).
3. Collect deposit and final balance from client.
4. Generate payment to speaker for event within two weeks after presentation.
5. Set-up phone conferences and/or interviews.
6. Follow-up with the client and assess satisfaction, answer any post presentation questions.
7. Follow-up with the speaker and assess performance, answer any post presentation questions.

The above materials will be forwarded to theESB review panel which will recommend to the Board of Directors if the speaker meet the required standards. Then the speaker will be notified about his/her application. If the application is accepted then the speaker details will be included in all our promotional materials including our website and will be able to access all our services. Again the speaker will sign a contract withESB as an INCLUSIVE or EXCLUSIVE Agent.

When recommending speakers to our clients we draw upon our network of information, our personal experience, and our customer’s needs. We help meeting planners simplify their job by narrowing the choice of speakers, reducing selection time, ensuring the quality of the speaker chosen, and facilitating logistics—including travel arrangements, equipment requirements, etc.
We are constantly seeking out and evaluating new speakers on our clients' behalf. Our ability to represent a speaker depends primarily on the promotional materials that the speaker provides. With the exception of celebrity status speakers, authors, and other individuals with significant name recognition, our clients depend heavily on a speaker's demo video and promotional packet when making their speaker selection. That is why it is important that your promotional packet be professionally done, complete with the following items.

• Demo Video of at least 4-5 minutes in length in front of a live audience
• Press Kit which includes a current bio, articles that have been published about you, a copy of your published book (if available), and a few letters of recommendation from previous audiences. A "one sheet" containing all of the above information is useful as well.
• Your Fee Schedule for a keynote, full day, half day, non-profit etc.
• List of Topics/Presentations, along with a brief description or outline of each. List your most popular presentation first.
• Photograph
• Website and e-mail address

We will review your material on an as received basis and the review process can take us some few weeks. Kindly note that materials received cannot be returned to the sender. Please do not to send any original materials or videos.
